Celestial Seasonings has been around for a long time and has put out many different tea products on the market.
One of their most popular blends of tea is called, Honey Vanilla Chamomile. I wanted to talk a little bit about chamomile and give my review of the particular tea in this post.
Chamomile can be a good thing to have around
Chamomile is a herb that smells really pleasant-kind of like apples. It may also have some benefits to it that make it something that could be useful to keep in your kitchen! The following are some of the health related effects researchers say that it may have:
May help with pain in the body
May have anti-inflammatory properties
May help with getting to sleep
May help with GI issues that include nausea, indigestion, heart burn and diarrhea
May help with anxiety and stress
May heal mouth sores and gingivitis
May help with cold symptoms
You can find chamomile sold in powder extract, tea bags, loose leaf, tea bags, liquid extract, capsule and essential oil form.
Honey Vanilla Chamomile tea by Celestial Seasonings
This is actually the first tea I ever tried. I was just 14 years old and hanging out with my friend. Her mother brewed me a cup of this tea and put honey in it. Upon first sip of it...I was in love!
It is still one of my favorite teas. I love the scent of it when it is all hot and ready to be drank. Also, the honey and vanilla flavorings go wonderful with the taste of chamomile.
This tea is so soothing. It has calmed my stomach, throat and PMS-related anxiety many times. I like to drink the tea with just Splenda but it would also be great with milk.
In conclusion
Celestial Seasonings Honey Vanilla Chamomile tea is wonderful and I would highly recommend it. The tea is one of those things that can definitely have a place in your feel-good tool box due to how soothing it is.
Have you had this tea before or any kind of chamomile tea? What do you think about it?
Thanks for reading!
I have used this tea to bake with and you will find one of those recipes in my upcoming cookbook! I hope to be done with it in February so stay tuned.
