What Is Parent's Night Out?

Parent's Night Out is a service that is designed exclusively for Forward Leap families! It is an evening where parents or caregivers can enjoy some quality time together while their child (or children) spend a few extra hours at school.

It can be difficult for parents/caregivers to find time for themselves and we believe that it is very important to do so. Parent's Night Out will provide a chance to reconnect, relax, slow down, do a new activity-whatever they want to do!

The Benefits

There are some great benefits of Parent's Night Out and they are as follows:

• Strengthening relationships- Parents getting to connect with each other not only helps to strengthen their relationship but also the relationship with their children and other people in their lives. This is a testament to how much self-care helps everyone.

• Strengthening the school community- Parents getting access to the Parent's Night Out service builds a strong community. This is because they will hopefully see how much their family is cared for and appreciated. Also, them getting a break once in a while from parenting might lead to more engaged parents within the school.

• New experiences for the children- On Parent's Night Out, the children will be doing different things than they do during the school day which might be really fun for them.

How It Works

Parent's Night out happens on an approved week day and runs from 5:00-9:00 PM. Kid's Night Out is another opportunity to have a date night and it is pre-scheduled with the same hours.

It is a simple process to utilize the Parent's Night Out Service. The following is how to do it:

1. Reserve your spot- Reach out to us about when you would like to have Parent's Night Out and we will either confirm or deny the particular date depending on what else is going on. Kid's Night Outs are prescheduled and involve the whole class. If they are being held, then no one will be denied.

2. Drop off or leave with us- On the date of the Parent's Night Out, you can drop them off at a certain time if you have picked them up from school or leave them at school until you are done with your night out. If it is Kid's Night Out. you drop them off at the designated place where it is being held at.

3. Enjoy your evening- Go out and have fun!
